Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

Urbanspoon couldn't have been more dead on about Bad Daddy's Burger Bar in Denver. Drawn in by the unique patio seating and openness of the restaurant, and amazing reviews, we couldn't resist.
We seated ourselves near the patio and a waitress was there right away to take our orders. The service was truly impeccable, the staff really knows how to make your burger experience the best it can be.
The burger menu alone was vast, and they also had a custom burger menu! But what caught all of our eyes was the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids (not even kidding, that's the name) so we both got that and so did our good friend Branden. (Shown below)
Well, the name was no exaggeration. This thing was so intense and meat-packed that I couldn't even finish it! But man, was it good. The jalapeño bacon flavor jumped out at me the most, giving the whole burger a kick.
I also ordered a Chunky Elvis milkshake which was basically a sundae in a shake, and the best shake to have ever touched my lips.
We give Bad Daddy's Burger Bar a huge two thumbs up, and we will definitely be back soon!

Freeway Café

A small diner called the Freeway Café caught our attention as we arrived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a recent road trip.
This small diner has a classic feel to it, covered head to toe in local news ads and models of old cars.
The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They started us off right away with drinks and were quick to take our order. I stepped out of my comfort zone and got myself a stack of blueberry pancakes which came homemade and were absolutely delicious! The side of bacon was among the best I've ever tasted.
Tyler ordered the Royal Burger (shown below)
The Royal burger was a hamburger, topped with a fried egg and bacon. The onion rings on the side were to die for!
This diner is the kind of place you'll find your Tulsa regulars, we were the youngest couple in the place by a long shot (ha!) and everyone seemed to know each other.
I think we'd give this place another shot, next time we happen to be in Tulsa :) We liked the food and the staff and the overall look of the place, despite the size, it works well for what it is. Big ups, Freeway Café!
