Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

Urbanspoon couldn't have been more dead on about Bad Daddy's Burger Bar in Denver. Drawn in by the unique patio seating and openness of the restaurant, and amazing reviews, we couldn't resist.
We seated ourselves near the patio and a waitress was there right away to take our orders. The service was truly impeccable, the staff really knows how to make your burger experience the best it can be.
The burger menu alone was vast, and they also had a custom burger menu! But what caught all of our eyes was the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids (not even kidding, that's the name) so we both got that and so did our good friend Branden. (Shown below)
Well, the name was no exaggeration. This thing was so intense and meat-packed that I couldn't even finish it! But man, was it good. The jalapeño bacon flavor jumped out at me the most, giving the whole burger a kick.
I also ordered a Chunky Elvis milkshake which was basically a sundae in a shake, and the best shake to have ever touched my lips.
We give Bad Daddy's Burger Bar a huge two thumbs up, and we will definitely be back soon!

Freeway Café

A small diner called the Freeway Café caught our attention as we arrived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a recent road trip.
This small diner has a classic feel to it, covered head to toe in local news ads and models of old cars.
The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They started us off right away with drinks and were quick to take our order. I stepped out of my comfort zone and got myself a stack of blueberry pancakes which came homemade and were absolutely delicious! The side of bacon was among the best I've ever tasted.
Tyler ordered the Royal Burger (shown below)
The Royal burger was a hamburger, topped with a fried egg and bacon. The onion rings on the side were to die for!
This diner is the kind of place you'll find your Tulsa regulars, we were the youngest couple in the place by a long shot (ha!) and everyone seemed to know each other.
I think we'd give this place another shot, next time we happen to be in Tulsa :) We liked the food and the staff and the overall look of the place, despite the size, it works well for what it is. Big ups, Freeway Café!

O'Furry's

Hidden in an older area of Colorado Springs is O'Furry's bar and grill, where the menu really speaks.
When we look for new places to eat, we try to pick something that stands out to us, and the menu at O'Furry's did just that. With burger names such as 'Kamoniwanaleiya' or the 'Hangover and Over and Over" there was no way we could pass this place up.
Upon entering, you get a nice vibe from the place. We ordered at the register and seated ourselves in a comfortable log booth while we waited for our food. The wait was not very long, and the service was great. The cook brought our food out to us and was very witty and polite. The food looked amazing and tasted even better.
I ordered myself the 'Cheeseburger Cheeseburer' with bacon (shown below)
The fries were fully flavored as well and tasted fantastic.
Tyler ordered the 'Heimlich' burger which was like your classic burger, only topped with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing (shown below)
We liked that you order and pay right away so we didn't have to wait around for a check.
The burgers were delicious, the fries were great, and we really had no complaints about this place. We will definitely be back to O'Furry's!

The Beginning

Drawn together from two different parts of the country, we have come to have a special love for burgers, especially in our now home state of Colorado. And lately, it has been the absolute hunt for the best tasting burger we can find.
One thing we share in common is our love for food so we spend a lot of our time dining out. We enjoy trying as many new places as we can and trying all different kinds of foods, but when it comes down to it, who doesn't love a good burger and a beer?
Social networking is also a big part of our lives (it's how we met!) and it's an even bigger part of our generation. Neither of us have ever blogged before, but are Instagram addicts all the way. We posted a lot of food and 420 friendly photos, and we started getting a lot positive feedback. So we had the idea to start blogging about our love for the burger and all that it is, and share a bit of ourselves in between!
We hope you guys enjoy this blog and get to know us a bit more as we post all the best burgers in Colorado (and more)!
